ABOUT THE TEAM
Chelsea Anderson, MA
Registered Professional Counsellor
I love working with people to develop healthier relationships with their bodies, movement/exercise, and food. I enjoy working with people who have trauma histories, anxiety and stress, and who are working through grief and loss. I am LGBTQ+ and kink friendly. While I've been practicing for nearly a decade with a graduate certificate in Applied Counselling, I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling in 2022 and am currently registering for provisional status with the College of Alberta Psychologists.
Originally from Kelowna, BC, I have recently relocated to Calgary, AB. I have travelled extensively throughout the world and have lived and worked in Canada, Cambodia, and Bolivia. Part of my love for travel is experiencing different cultures and learning about how people across the world experience life. My experiences have allowed me to bring a unique multicultural perspective into my counselling work.
I love to explore the outdoors by bike or by skis. I love moving my body and have often have an on-going sport that I compete in as well as an activity that is new or "just for fun" . This lends well to counselling as I encourage my clients to get curious about their own relationships with moving their bodies. I walk alongside my clients as they learn to live an embodied life and engage in living more fully.
