ABOUT THE TEAM
Lauren Walker, PhD
Registered Clinical Psychologist
I love helping couples and individuals enhance their intimate relationships and sexual lives. I'm a therapist, researcher, author and entrepreneur. I translate science about sexuality in practical ways and am passionate about about reducing stigma about sexuality and mental health.
After obtaining my PhD in Clinical Psychology in in 2013, I completed a specialized clinical fellowship in sexual dysfunction after cancer treatment, receiving mentorship from nationally recognized experts in sexual medicine. I also direct the Oncology Sexual Health Lab at the University of Calgary and am an Adjunct Associate Professor. I was recognized with Calgary's Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 award for my work developing innovative sexual health programs for cancer patients. I have written over 50 scientific publications on the topic of cancer and sex.
Though I'm not sure the "perfect balance" really exists, I try to find balance in my career, and in being a wife and mother. I love skiing, golfing, and working out; listening to music; and enjoying food with friends.

Chelsea Anderson, MA
Registered Professional Counsellor
I love working with people to develop healthier relationships with their bodies, movement/exercise, and food. I enjoy working with people who have trauma histories, anxiety and stress, and who are working through grief and loss. I am LGBTQ+ and kink friendly. While I've been practicing for nearly a decade with a graduate certificate in Applied Counselling, I recently completed my Master of Arts in Counselling in 2022.
Originally from Kelowna, BC, I have recently relocated to Calgary, AB. I have travelled extensively throughout the world and have lived and worked in Canada, Cambodia, and Bolivia. Part of my love for travel is experiencing different cultures and learning about how people across the world experience life. My experiences have allowed me to bring a unique multicultural perspective into my counselling work.
Together with my husband and fluffy pooch, I love to explore the outdoors by bike or by skis. I love moving my body and have often have an on-going sport that I compete in as well as an activity that is new or "just for fun" . This lends well to counselling as I encourage my clients to get curious about their own relationships with moving their bodies. I walk alongside my clients as they learn to live an embodied life and engage in living more fully.
